Lacey has been involved with make-up and special effects since the age of twelve, when she would surprise her parents by horribly “disfiguring” her little brother on a weekly basis. She then went on to theatre make-up and moulage for EMS training purposes. After many successful endeavors, such as starting her own theatre company in Keflavik Iceland and working as a production assistant for Pegasus Films, Lacey decided to leave the comforts of weekly paychecks and health insurance to start the always exciting and mostly terrifying career of a professional artist opening Daydreamer Face & Body Art, LLC in 2005.

Since then, Lacey has painted thousands of happy children’s faces at fairs and festivals around the country and worked with companies such as Red Bull, Budweiser, Nascar, and Forum painting full body models for corporate events. She somehow still finds the time to freak people out with seeping wounds and blistering burns. An avid outdoor enthusiast and adrenaline junkie; Lacey is also a certified raft guide, snowboard instructor and rock climber. None of which come in handy living in Wichita Kansas…But, being a Yoga Instructor does! So, you better start stretching, because Lacey will be leading morning yoga as well.

Kim Brennan is Manitoba’s only ICNHA Certified artist which makes her one in five in Canada. She is an internationally renowned Henna master and body artist that has taught from India and London England to all over Canada and the USA. Her summer is spent in Winnipeg where she lends her skills to doing most of the high end Indian Bridal henna for the South Asian community and her fall and winter months are filled with travel and study. This is the time she spends designing pattern books that are sold through her publisher at Henna Caravan and the styles vary from the traditional to Steampunk art used by henna artists and tattooists alike. Her passion for the body arts is driven by the joy she gets from happy clients. Immediate gratification and the ability to create on the spot is a huge motivator.

For well over a decade, Kim has been serving the henna community and her skills range from traditional Indian bridal, to Arabic design all the way to tattoo style art. She has taught with, and studied under, such painting greats as Pashur, Wiser, Jinny, Mark Reid and the Wolfe Bros. which has made her a sought after artist on the conference circuit and a skilled teacher to help professionals push their art to higher levels. Her henna has been noted by on several television stations, Mera Desh Magazine, IndoCanadian Telegram, Winnipeg Weddings and many more publications.

Robin Slonina is the owner of Skin City Body Painting, one of the most successful body painting companies in the USA.  Robin’s work has been featured on MTV, Fox, Lifetime, Spike, Showtime, Univision and more.  Her work was most recently featured on the 2012 Latin Grammys and a Super Bowl commercial for GoDaddy.

She paints models full-time for film, television, promotions, events, theater, photo shoots, fashion shows, parties, conventions and more. Robin has a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and 9 years experience as an art instructor.

Nina Greville is a make-up artist, face and body painter in Orange County, California.  Her company Tickled Pink has been in business since 2003.  Nina’s love of make-up began in high school in her native England where she would apply make-up for the drama department.  She went on to study performance art in College where she learned to apply make-up for the stage.  Her fascination for face painting began when her own children (who are now part of her face painting team) were young.

Her clients include, Natalie Mains, Jeff Probst, Dave Grohl, Flea, Denise Richards, Ben Affleck, Joely Fisher, William Baldwin  and Gwen Steffani to name a few.  Greville is also a Make-up artist with MAC cosmetics, were she was chosen to travel to Las Vegas to body paint for the Posh Paradise unveiling.  She has been teaching make-up, face and body painting for the last 6 years.

Jay has been face and body painting for over 12 years.  He first got his start in the industry at Enjoy Your Face, Inc. painting at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.  Since then he has catered to high end celebrity parties, rock concerts, major sports teams, corporate events and even college sports teams.  Mardi Gras and Fantasy Fest are now a staple of major events that Jay attends.

Currently, Jay can be seen on FABATV.com featuring his tribal and line work classes.  This unique style of painting developed in the early years while body painting in nightclubs throughout the Orlando, FL area.  Orlando Museum of Art took note of his work in his early years as an artist and featured him in 4 exclusive displays featuring his artwork.

He can be seen from coast to coast as he tours the country doing workshops and gigs alike.  Sillyfarm Supplies Inc, is currently working with Jay to feature his unique style of designs in a step by step book.  In addition, his DVD’s can be purchased showing stroke by stroke his method of brush work displaying immaculate line work.

One of the biggest feelings you can walk away with by attending his class is a feeling of accomplishment.  Jay tries to personalize every class by catering to their needs.  From cutesy wootsy girl faces, dazzling eye designs, cool boy faces, tribals, super heroes and villains;  Jay tries to share his knowledge to anyone willing to learn.

David Caballero has been in the Special FX and Body Art world for many years. He is the Artistic Director and lead make-up artist at Disguises, one of the largest costume shops in the Rocky Mountain region. David also heads up one of the largest and longest running Body Paint Jams in Colorado, “The Denver Face Paint and Body Art Jam”. He is very pleased to be hosting the evening jams this year at FPBA 2012.

Ellen has been teaching theatrical and character makeup for the last 10 years at a performing arts school. While there, she has designed the makeup’s for over 30 theatrical productions and instructed over 800 students,

Before teaching she worked for 16 years as a makeup artist for over 50 production companies doing movies, commercials, music videos and also for the Miami City Ballet, Florida Grand Opera, the Gold Coast Opera and several cosmetic companies. Ellen has taught at FABAIC, FPBA and Living Canvas conventions. She has also placed as a finalist in the FABAIC competitions for 5 years and won numerous awards, including 1st place at the 2008 FPBA convention. Ellen’s work has been featured in “Illusion Magazine”.
